Ideal for kayakers looking for a more versatile inflatable kayak, the Moki II gives you endless paddling options. First, convert from a one person kayak to a two person kayak by simple adjusting the seats. Enjoy the option of an open boat or spraydeck boat all-in-one with the removable spraydeck and sprayskirt system. This system works with both the one person and two person setup (single person spraydeck sold separately).
More durable than many inflatable kayaks on the market, the Moki II is the perfect kayak for adventure paddlers seeking a high-performance and versatile boat. Easily stow and transport your Moki II with the included premium carry case. The Moki II includes a 2 person removable spraydeck, premium Carry Bag, EVA Moki seat and a Nano Barrel Pump.
The well featured but non-inflatable EVA foam seats look a bit thin in relation to the floor, but that’s easily altered and they can be positioned securely anywhere along twin velcro bands on the floor, with the backrests braced off the hull top. The footrest/s can be repositioned in daisy chain loops presumably sewn to the side hull casing. The boat also has a dozen D-rings and a big clip-on skeg (tracking fin) plys what looks like a shallow front keel to help the flat floor track straight. A zip-on tandem deck is included in the price, with an optional solo deck available.
CONSTRUCTION & MATERIAL
The Moki I and Moki II feature a 1,000d Reinforced PVC bottom. The pontoons are constructed with 840d Nylon and include a separate internal PVC bladder (2 pontoon chambers). The inflatable floor is made of a rigid high-pressure drop-stitch floor to give the kayak a more rigid hull enhancing speed and tracking in the water.
There are 3 total air chambers, one inflatable floor and 2 separate pontoon chambers. Each chamber comes with a friendly to use GRI Push-Push military style valves.
The deck material is treated with a water resistant PU coating which helps wick away water. The removable spraydeck is also PU treated and can be zipped on and off depending on weather conditions.
SHAPE & DESIGN
The Moki I and Moki II have a symmetrical (front/back) narrow trim which allows the kayaks to cut through the water with ease. This streamlined shape helps improve both the speed and tracking of the Moki series inflatable kayaks.
We designed the Moki I and Moki II to be paddled with or without the included attachable spraydeck covering to keep you comfortable whether in inclement weather or hot and sunny conditions.
ATTACHMENT POINTS
The Moki I and Moki II have a 6-point quick-attach bungee storage system on both the front and back deck of the kayak. The bungee is connected at the end with a male-female 0.75in (1.9cm) buckle for quickly securing gear.
The seats come with quick-clip attachments to secure the seat in place. The seats are adjustable forward and backwards based on the paddlers height. The seat also includes a bottom velcro attachment to keep the seat from slipping front/back if the boat gets wet.
The foot block also offers quick-clip attachments that attach to multiple daisy chain loops which allow the paddler to adjust the length based on the leg length of the paddler.
CARE & CLEANING
Always rinse your inflatable kayak off with clean water once you are off the water. Be sure to clean out any debris that may have accumulated in the seams of your boat. Focus on where the pontoons meet the floor. Allow to dry fully. Store loosely rolled in a climate controlled, UV-free environment to extend the life as much as possible.
NOTE: A small amount of Dawn or another friendly detergent can be added to the water.
